SBS Details
1 WORK INCLUDED
- (1) Air or Vapour Control Layers
- The requirement for a vapour retarder is determined by the design authority.
- (2) Insulation
- See available insulation products in the Accepted Materials section of this Manual.
- (3) Insulation Overlay
- Where required.
- (4) Primary Membrane and Membrane Protection
- (5) Membrane Flashing
- Carried up wall minimum 200 mm (8") above roof surface. Caulked at top edge.
- (6) Wall Base Flashing
- Install as detailed. Slide behind building paper under stucco.
- (7) Metal Flashing Fasteners
- Appropriate fasteners depending on parapet construction, at maximum 300 mm (12") o.c.
- (8) Reglet
- To cover lower reglet assembly. Install as detailed.
- (9) Caulking
- Polyurethane sealant, fill to top of flashing and crown to promote drainage.
