1 WORK INCLUDED

(1) Underlayment
Required, and installed to overlap the Valley Protection Membrane and the Valley Metal Flashing. Install ‘shingle-style’, following the requirements for side and end laps; use acceptable fasteners, or adhere (if a self-adhering membrane) in keeping with the manufacturer’s published requirements.
(2) Shingles (field)
(3) Field Shingles
Fasteners used to secure shingles must be at least 300 mm (12") above the finished surface of the roof waterproofing system.
(4) Field Membrane
Secure membrane to water-shedding roof deck at least 300 mm (12") above the finished surface of the roof waterproofing (refer to the related Membrane Standards, Part 9 FIELD MEMBRANE and Part 10 PERIMETERS and WALLS).
