OVERVIEW

The SS 200 standing seam panel is formed with an in-shop continuous metal roofing panel roll forming machine SSP. This machine produces a standing seam panel with a seam height of 50 mm (2"). Profiles can vary from 305 mm (12") wide to 610 mm (24") wide.

This machine also produces a 44 mm (1-3/4") high Nu-Tech panel profile.

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

  1. General: The SS 200 panel is a standing seam concealed fastener roofing panel. The maximum spacing of the clips is 610 mm (24") O.C.
  2. Range of application: on wood or metal sloped roofs; in commercial, institutional, industrial and residential construction; for re-roofing or new construction.
  3. Fasteners (Screws):
    1. Fasteners (screws) used to attach panels to plywood deck to be No. 10-12 by 19 mm (5/8") long pancake head wood screw. Minimum two fasteners per clip to be used.
    2. Two-piece assembly consists of a steel base approximately 127 mm (5") wide x 25 mm (1") long, with a minimum thickness of 0.026 (No. 24 MSG) and an upper tab that measures 50 mm high with a minimum thickness of 0.020 (No. 26 MSG). One panel clip spaced at 610 mm (24") O.C. maximum.
  4. Fabrication: Unless otherwise shown on drawings or specified herein, fabricate panels in continuous one piece lengths and fabricate flashings and accessories in longest practical lengths.
  5. Deck Requirements: in keeping with the Standard for Architectural Sheet Metal (ASM) Systems.
