Xpress Board HD is a mineral wool fibre insulation made from basalt rock and steel slag with a factory-applied polyester reinforced SBS modified bitumen base sheet on the top surface with a thermofusible plastic film on a sanded surface. The base sheet, laminated to the substrate board with an adhesive, is offset from the board on two adjacent edges (1" on one end and 3 3/8" on one side) to provide shiplap; other edges are square.
