Product Summary
Xpress ISO overlay board is a polyisocyanurate insulation board laminated with adhesive to a mineral wool fibre insulation made from basalt rock and steel slag with a factory-applied polyester reinforced SBS modified bitumen base sheet on the top surface with a thermofusible plastic film or a sanded surface. The base sheet is offset from the board on two adjacent edges (1" on end and 3 3/8" on side) to provide shiplap, other edges are square. . XPRESS ISO can be mechanically fastened with SOPRAFIX FASTENERS AND PLATES or adhered to the substrate with COLTACK or DUOTACK adhesive or hot bitumen.
To ensure a secure installation, Xpress ISO is made with the patented DUO-SELVEDGE, a lap unique to Soprema (70% self-adhesive and 30% thermofusible). Its self-adhesive component protects combustible surfaces and its thermofusible properties provide an efficient seal end laps can be aligned then sealed by heat welding a minimum 12" wide membrane reinforcing strip.
Xpress ISO is available in lm x 4.9m (39" x 16') up to 89 mm (3½") thick and lm x 2.4m (39" x 8') from 89 mm to 114 mm (3½" - 4½") thick. The larger boards are folded in two for easy shipping and handling. It can be mechanically fastened in seam with SOPRAFIX FASTENERS and PLATES, bonded with COLTACK or DUOTACK adhesive, or bonded in hot asphalt.
XPRESS ISO is an overlay board and base sheet combined, adding various thermal resistance values to primary insulation used as the overlay and base sheet combined.
