DensDeck is a water-resistant treated gypsum board manufactured with an embedded non structural fibreglass mat facer and a water-resistant treated core. DensDeck Prime Roof Guard is identical except that it has a treated surface to improve bonding.
 
 
 
DensDeck is an accepted insulation overlay board in the RoofStar Guarantee Program. DensDeck Prime Roof Guard is an accepted insulation overlay board for adhered roof assemblies in the RGC Program.
 
 
 
DensDeck and DensDeck Prime Roof Guard have achieved a very comprehensive Class A (UL 790) fire rating at Underwriters Laboratories due to their outstanding fire resistance.

* ASTM E 119 with 5/8" DensDeck Fireguard Type X Roof Guard: UL Classified Type DGG
 
 
 
Due to the outstanding fire performance of 5/8" DensDeck Fireguard Type X Roof Guard, this product can replace any generic Type X gypsum board in an assembly in the UL Fire Resistance Directory under the prefix &#8220;P&#8221;.
