The RGC Roofing Practices Manual ("RPM", "Manual") and its Standards are freely accessible to anyone (the “User”) but are intended solely to qualify a project for a RoofStar Guarantee, which is issued by the RCABC Guarantee Corp. (RGC); neither the Manual generally, nor the Standards particularly, are a comprehensive resource for roofing and waterproofing at grade. The User must therefore be familiar with all aspects of design and construction, as those relate to the User's interests.

Note that all RGC Standards must be read together with the Building Code having jurisdiction, with local or regional requirements, and in conjunction with the installation requirements published variously by manufacturers. Ultimate responsibility for a design that relies on this Manual and its Standards rests with the User.

By using this Manual, the "User" consents to these terms and agrees to hold the owner of this Manual (the Roofing Contractors Association of British Columbia and its entities) harmless from any and all claims arising out of the use of any part of this Manual.
