1 WORK INCLUDED

(1) Gypsum Overlay Board: If required by design authority.

(2) Vapour Retarder: If required by design authority.

(3) Insulation: See list of accepted materials in Section 2.2.

(4) Insulation Overlay: As required. See RGC Guarantee Standard B4.1, B4.2, C4.1 and C4.2

(5) Primary Membrane and Membrane Protection

(6) Membrane Flashing: Mechanically fasten to parapet at termination.

(7) Metal Base Flashing: Optional on flexible membrane systems. Required on assemblies using gravel ballast filter mats. See RGC Guarantee Standard A6.9

(8) Metal Counter Flashing: Minimum 250 mm (10") above roof surface.

(9) Metal Cap Flashing: Required whenever the primary roof membrane flashing/stripping is carried over the top of parapet walls. See RGC Guarantee Standards A6.9 and 6.10

(E) Sloped Wood Blocking: Required over 100 mm (4") parapet width. See RGC Guarantee Standard A6.9.

(F) Wall Sheathing Membrane: Minimum 1 mm (0.040") self-adhered modified bitumen. See RGC Guarantee Standard A5.6.

(G) Exterior Wall Finish

(H) Metal Cap Flashing: Required by others whenever the primary roof membrane is not carried over top of the parapet and/or when the wall finish is by others. (Unless specified otherwise).

(I) Cap Flashing underlay: Minimum 1 mm (0.040" or 40 mil) self-adhered modified bitumen. See RGC Guarantee Standard A5.6
