Specifying authorities requesting the RoofStar Guarantee may insert the following wording into their specifications:
Quality Assurance
(i) Workmanship standards conform to the latest RoofStar Guarantee Program standards as published in the RoofStar Roofing Practices Manual for a RoofStar 5-Year Roofing Guarantee, RoofStar 10-Year Roofing Guarantee, or a RoofStar 5-Year Waterproofing Guarantee, unless modified by the contract documents to exceed these minimums.
(ii) Independent Inspection (preferred wording)
- Performed using an independent inspection company acceptable to the RoofStar Guarantee Program, the owner and the consultant
- Performed as required by the RoofStar Guarantee Program under the RoofStar 5-Year Roofing Guarantee, RoofStar 10-Year Roofing Guarantee, or under the RoofStar 5-Year Waterproofing Guarantee program.
- Inspection costs are to be paid directly by the owner
(iii) Independent Inspection (optional wording)
- Performed using an independent inspection company acceptable to the RoofStar Guarantee Program, the owner and the consultant, to be assigned by the RoofStar Guarantee Program.
- Performed as required by the RoofStar Guarantee Program under the RoofStar 5-Year Roofing Guarantee, RoofStar 10-Year Roofing Guarantee, or under the RoofStar 5-Year Waterproofing Guarantee program

Guarantee
