(1) Underlayment: Required, and installed to overlap the Valley Protection Membrane and the Valley Metal Flashing. Install ‘shingle-style’, following the requirements for side and end laps; use acceptable fasteners, or adhere (if a self-adhering membrane) in keeping with the manufacturer’s published requirements.
(2)Eave Protection Membrane: Applied beneath the metal valley flashing.
(3)Shingles (field)
(4) Metal Counterflashing.
(5) Metal Edge Flashing (refer to the related Membrane Standards, 10.3.5.2 Metal Edge Terminations).
(6) Field Membrane (refer to the related Membrane Standards, Part 9 FIELD MEMBRANE and Part 10 PERIMETERS and WALLS).
