The
RGC Roofing Practices Manual ("RPM", "Manual") and its Standards are freely accessible to anyone (the “User”). By using any or all resources in this
Manual, the User agrees with and consents to the following conditions:
- All materials in this Manual are intended solely to support a project designed to qualify for a RoofStar Guarantee, which is issued by the RCABC Guarantee Corp. (RGC);
- Neither the Manual generally, nor the Standards specifically, are a comprehensive resource for roofing and waterproofing at grade, and therefore the User must be familiar with all aspects of a project's design and construction;
- All RGC Standards must be read together with the Building Code having jurisdiction, with local or regional requirements, and in conjunction with the installation requirements published variously by manufacturers;
- All the content in a given Standard is applicable to the design and construction of a project; the User must therefore be familiar with the entirety of a Standard and not just with select Parts.
- Full responsibility for a design that relies on this Manual and its Standards rests with the User.
