- Product Summary
- Protectobase 180 Sanded is IKO Industries' Protectoboard, a mineral-fortified asphalt core board factory-laminated to an SBS modified bitumen base sheet. The base sheet is manufactured using a non-woven reinforced polyester scrim strengthened with select glass fiber strands. The top face of the laminated membrane is sanded. This version of the Protectobase 180 product is considered by the manufacturer to be suitable for hot-mopping or for use with their proprietary, approved cold process adhesive.
