Product Summary
Elastoflex SA Polar Base membrane is a self-adhered, elastomeric base ply for waterproofing roof systems. This product is manufactured for colder weather applications, using patented ADESO Dual-Compound Self-Adhered Technology, whereby a "true" Styrene-Butadience-Styrene (SBS) modified asphalt compound is applied on the top layer while a self-adhesive compound is applied to the bottom layer.
Elastoflex SA Polar Base membrane is made with a reinforcing polyester mat for puncture and tear resistance, and includes a proprietary "low-temp" self-adhesive compound to enhance adhesion at lower temperatures.
Elastoflex SA Polar Base membrane is finished with polyolefin film having laylines on the top surface and a split release film on the bottom surface.
