Difference between revisions of "Requesting and Specifying a RoofStar Guarantee"

Specifying authorities requesting the RoofStar Guarantee may insert the following wording into their specifications:

Quality Assurance

Workmanship standards conform to the latest RoofStar Guarantee Standards as published in the RoofStar Roofing Practices Manual for a RoofStar Guarantee, unless modified by the contract documents to exceed these minimums.
Independent Observations (preferred wording)
1. Performed using an independent observation company acceptable to the RoofStar Guarantee Program, the Owner and the consultant.
2. Performed as required by the RoofStar Guarantee Program.
3. Observation costs are to be paid directly by the Owner
Independent Observation (optional wording)
1. Performed using an independent observation company acceptable to the RoofStar Guarantee Program, the owner and the consultant, to be assigned by the RoofStar Guarantee Program.
2. Performed as required by the RoofStar Guarantee Program.
Observation costs are included in this contract

Guarantee

Provide the RoofStar Guarantee for five, ten or fifteen* years.
