Waterproofing Details for Plazas, Promenades and Terraces

1 WORK INCLUDED

(1) Primary Waterproofing Membrane: Fully adhered to acceptable substrates (concrete slab depicted) installed as per RGC Guarantee Standards E and Membrane Manufacturer's installation specifications.

(2) Membrane Primer or Adhesive: proprietary primer or adhesive application method and quantities as directed by membrane membrane manufacturer published application specifications.

(3) Protection Board or Mat: Proprietary membrane protection board or mat approved by membrane manufacturer, compatible with waterproofing membrane system, and compliant with RGC Guarantee Standards E.

(4) Drainage Medium: Proprietary (purpose-made) geocomposites drainage board, with synthetic water permeable filter fabric mat, designed to provide secondary drainage below poured concrete wearing slabs or unit masonry, pavers, brick or stone set in mortar beds.


2 WORK BY OTHERS

(A) Acceptable Deck: Concrete slab depicted

(B) Wearing Course: Concrete slab (depicted) or pavers, bricks or stone set in mortar beds designed to predicted live loads.(C) Score Line or Indent: pattern set into concrete slab wearing course in order to facilitate cutting at designate sections mandatory with RGC Guarantee Standards E.

(D) Conductive Tape: Moisture Survey System (tape grid) mandatory and compliant with RGC Guarantee Standards E. For RGC accepted Moisture Survey tape system s - refer to Section 2.2 and RGC Guarantee Standards
