1 WORK INCLUDED

(1) Underlayment
The type of underlay required is determined by roof slope.
(2) Ventilation layer
A ventilation space is required on slopes less than 1:3; entangled mesh (shown) may be used as void fill. The ventilation space facilitates drying as condensation forms on the underside of the metal panels.
(3) Architectural metal panel clip
(4) 'Z' Closure
Set in accepted sealant or butyl tape and secured with compatible non-corrosive flathead fasteners.
(5) Sealant
(6) Drag-load fasteners
Compatible non-corrosive fasteners.
(7) Architectural metal roof panel
Top end of panels must be "bread-panned".
(8) Ridge cap flashing
Cut away to reveal 'Z' closure and drag-load fasteners.

2 RELATED WORK BY OTHERS

(A) Acceptable Deck

NOTE: See the Standard for additional requirements.
