USING THE CSA A123.21 WIND UPLIFT TEST REPORTS

The tables and products shown below provide basic material data related to roof assemblies tested for their performance in modulating and high winds. They also provide links to more information about the materials, including manufacturers' published Technical Data sheets. The reader is advised to use this information in conjunction with other RoofStar-accepted Materials, and with reference to roof system requirements derived from from appropriate wind uplift calculations (see the Wind-RCI calculator and reference notes and requirements outlined in Wind Uplift Design and CSA A123.21). The information on this page is not intended for use as a comparison of material performance or quality. It is the sole responsibility of the design authority to assess the performance capability and material suitability for specific design requirements.

The materials listed in these tables are those which have been accepted by the RoofStar Guarantee Program (RCABC Guarantee Corp., or RGC) upon application by the manufacturer/supplier, in compliance with RGC Policy A-041, and are materials for which RoofStar Guarantee Certificates are available. The acceptance of these materials in no way reflects on the quality or performance of other materials not listed. Note that many of the tested assemblies and their products listed in the downloadable reports (linked in the table below) include materials which are not accepted for use in the RoofStar Guarantee Program. In those instances, the reader is urged to locate a suitable replacement in the Accepted Materials section of this Manual.

The materials and guideline specifications found on various pages in this Manual are listed under the name of the manufacturer and/or supplier of the primary membrane material, with the exception of BUR membranes for which the reader will find RoofStar Guarantee Program guidelines on traditional built-up roofing systems (BUR) incorporating organic and glass felt primary membranes.
