The RCABC does not specify Vapour Retarders, as they are not included in the RoofStar Guarantee Program. See manufacturer specifications where Vapour Retarders are required, and refer to proprietary products and installation instructions. This cross-reference is listed for information only.

6 Standing Seam Metal Roof System - Job Site Roll-forming
- All architectural metal roofing accepted for application in the RoofStar Guarantee Program utilizes a locking standing seam. There are three seam types currently offered with site-formed metal roofing systems (click on a type to see an illustration). Refer to the table below for a summary of panel manufacturers and the products they supply:
- Mechanically locking
- Snap-together
- Snap-together with cap
- Note that not all panels are made with stiffener ribs. Refer to each manufacturer's literature by clicking on the product name in the table.
7 Proprietary Metal Roof Systems (Manufactured in Plant Roll-forming)
- RCABC Guarantee Corp. (RGC) accepted proprietary standing seam metal roof systems, installed in conformance with RoofStar Guarantee Standards, qualify for a five (5) or ten (10) year guarantee under the RoofStar Guarantee Program.
