- The 241 Highlander NEX is a laminated asphalt shingle fortified with a proprietary polymer modified asphalt technology (NEX) designed to improve granule adhesion and weather protection. This shingle also incorporates algae-resistant technology (adapted from the Highlander NEX Technical Data Sheet).
