1 WORK INCLUDED
- (1) Underlayment
- The type of underlay required is determined by roof slope.
- (2) Ventilation layer
- A ventilation space is required on slopes less than 1:3; entangled mesh (shown) may be used as void fill. The ventilation space facilitates drying as condensation forms on the underside of the metal panels.
- (3) Architectural metal panel clip
- (4) 'Z' Closure
- Set in accepted sealant or butyl tape and secured with compatible non-corrosive flathead fasteners.
- (5) Sealant
- (6) Drag-load fasteners
- Compatible non-corrosive fasteners.
- (7) Architectural metal roof panel
- Top end of panels must be "bread-panned".
- (8) Ridge cap flashing
- Cut away to reveal 'Z' closure and drag-load fasteners.
