OVERVIEW
The FF100 Panel is a metal roof panel formed from 24 gauge. The panel can be applied on to solid sheeting with or without insulation. Width from 300 mm (12") to 500 mm (20") wide with a 25 mm (1") height at the male rib. Panels are continuous with no end laps.
Fasteners (screws) used to attach panels to plywood deck to be No. 8 by 22 mm (1") panhead. Fasteners to be placed a maximum of 600 mm (24") on center.
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
- General: Standing seam panels utilize a hidden fastener clip system for mechanical fastening to a solid substrate. The maximum spacing of the clips in either the snap lock or mechanically locked system is 600 mm OC (24"). The panels are locked together with the clips as part of the seam, by use of friction in the case of the Snap lock profiles, or by use of a mechanical seamer in the case of the mechanically locked profiles.
- Range of application: on wood or metal sloped roofs; in commercial, institutional, industrial and residential construction; for re-roofing or new construction.
- Fasteners (Screws):
- Consult manufacturer.
- Deck Requirements: in keeping with the Standard for Architectural Sheet Metal (ASM) Systems.
