The ESE 100 Standing Seam Metal roof is shop formed and on site continuous panel metal roofing machine. Panel profiles vary from 330 mm (13") to 533 mm (21") wide with a seam height of 25 mm (1"). Standard width is 13", 15" or 21". It can be formed with optional stiffening ribs or striation to reduce oil canning. The panel can also be formed into curved and tapered panels. Batterns can be attached to the 1" seam height for a more distinct architectural look.

OVERVIEW

The ESE 100 Standing Seam Metal roof is shop formed and on site continuous panel metal roofing machine. Panel profiles vary from 330 mm (13") to 533 mm (21") wide with a seam height of 25 mm (1"). Standard width is 13", 15" or 21". It can be formed with optional stiffening ribs or striation to reduce oil canning. The panel can also be formed into curved and tapered panels. Batterns can be attached to the 1" seam height for a more distinct architectural look.

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

  1. General: Standing seam panels use a hidden fastening system for securement to a solid substrate. The panels are seamed together with a mechanical seamer.
  2. Range of application: on wood or metal sloped roofs; in commercial, institutional, industrial and residential construction; for re-roofing or new construction.
  3. Fasteners (Screws): For panel clip to steel attachment to be No. 13-16 by 22 mm (1") long self-drilling, self-tapping, hex-washer head plated steel screws used without sealing washers. Two fasteners per panel clip used, inserted into panel clip guide holes.
  4. Panel Clips:
    1. One-piece clips are 1.5" wide by 1" high with a 1" base in 24 Ga., as manufactured by Lam Metal.
    2. Two-part clip assembly consists of a 24 Ga. minimum thick coated steel base approximately 1" wide x 5" long, together with a 24 Ga. minimum thick steel upper tap section height 1" as manufactured by Logan Stamping Ltd.
  5. Deck Requirements: in keeping with the Standard for Architectural Sheet Metal (ASM) Systems.
