OVERVIEW
The 1" MR-100 is a metal roof panel formed from 24 gauge. The panel can be applied onto solid sheeting with or without insulation. Width from 300 mm (12") to 500 mm (20") wide with a 25 mm (1") height at the male rib.
On-site roll forming provides for the elimination of end laps with continuous panel forming capabilities in lengths up to nominal 46 m (150').
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
- General: Metal panels employ a hidden fastening system for securement to a solid substrate. 1" MR-100 panels are produced with a nail strip to eliminate the use of clips and allow the panel seams to interlock without having to use a mechanical seaming device.
- Range of application: on wood or metal sloped roofs, with or without exterior insulation; in commercial, institutional, industrial and residential construction; also used for roof replacement (retrofit) application.
- Fabrication:
- Unless otherwise shown on drawings or specified herein, fabricate panels in continuous one piece lengths and fabricate flashings and accessories in longest practical lengths.
- Roofing panels shall be factory formed or site formed.
- Verify prior to fabrication.
- If field measurements differ from drawing dimensions, notify Architect / Professional Engineer prior to fabrication.
- Fasteners (Screws): Fasteners(Screws) - Fasteners used to attach panels to steel or wood substrate to be No. 10 - 16 pancake head, No. 2 Phillips drive, self-drilling, coated screw.
- Delivery, Storage & Handling:

- Do not bend panels.

- Materials:RoofStar (RGC) accepted metal panel systems shall be formed of steel conforming to the requirements published in Section 9.2. of the Standard.
