Finally, note that those RoofStar Accepted Materials which have been tested for wind uplift resistance can be found through links on the Main Page of the RPM.

NOTE: Primers, cleaners, sealants, mastics, adhesives, fasteners, and all other similar products necessary to construct a roof system, are not expressly accepted by the RGC and therefore are not listed in this Manual. However, they must be proprietary to, or acceptable for use by, the manufacturer of the primary material. Where Tested Assemblies are concerned, the precise products listed in the test report must be used, unless expressly permitted by the manufacturer.

Vegetated roof systems can be divided into three classic types: Extensive, Semi-intensive, and Intensive. Added to this are blue-green roofs, also referred to as "hybrid systems." Refer to the Notes to the Notes to the Standard for Vegetated Roofs for an expanded treatment on the three principal types. To learn more about RGC requirements for hybrid systems, see Sentences 1.1.3.2.(6) through (8) in the "RGC Standard for Vegetated Roofs".
Minimum system and growing media depths may vary. For example, some manufacturers produce retention/detention mats in various thicknesses, to accommodate varying hydrological requirements. This may affect the minimum thickness of a system. Similarly, manufacturers may specify different minimum growing media depths depending on how the system will be used (i.e., deeper media if an intensive system is to be cultivated for rooftop agriculture). Always refer to the system page for more information.
