An Accessory is a material that joins Primary or Secondary Materials together, or is connected to/with a Primary or Secondary material, but does not by its nature (apart from its installation) directly affect the waterproofing or water-shedding capabilities of the system.
Accessories are not currently part of the Accepted Material program, but are listed here for reference to specifiers, designers and installers.
These membranes are not Accepted for use in the primary waterproofing system, but may be use as for an ancillary function - for example, as protective membranes (a 'sacrificial' cap membrane).

Coatings are not a waterproofing product, but rather enhance solar reflectivity or other properties of a membrane. The inclusion of these materials, although acceptable under the RoofStar Guarantee Program, is not part of the Guarantee.
